About

The Democratic Club of Quail Creek supports local, state, and federal Democratic candidates. Democratic platforms seek to promote social programs, labor unions, consumer protection, workplace safety regulation, equal opportunity, disability rights, racial equity, regulations against environmental pollution, and criminal justice reform. Democrats tend to support abortion rights and the LGBT community, as well as a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. Democrats typically agree with the scientific consensus on climate change and favor a multilateral approach in foreign policy.

Democrats work to build a better America. We’re fighting to build an economy that works for everyone by lowering costs for working families and investing in the middle class. Democrats are dedicated to ensuring a stronger and more just future for every American. Democrats believe that the economy should work for everyone, health care is a right, our diversity is our strength, and democracy is worth defending.

The Democratic Club of Quail Creek is a welcoming and diverse group of individuals living in the Green Valley and Sahuarita areas. Founded in 2012, we are located in the Quail Creek neighborhood, and welcome members from well beyond.

Engaging in political activity is at the heart of what we do. We bring in local Democratic candidates and officials to hear their views, we learn about legislation, we help with voter registration, and we volunteer at the polls. Our members donated hundreds of hours to recent Democratic campaigns – including Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Mark Kelly – helping turn Arizona blue for the first time in decades! Please visit our Take Action page to learn more.

We focus on the issues. We have a monthly speaker series on important topics, such as the environment in our beautiful Sonoran Desert home, immigration, criminal justice reform, and advocacy for at-risk children, just to name a few. We contribute to our community through events such as food drives and road clean-up campaigns. And we have fun! We have a regular “Women In Blue” luncheon and we throw parties and barbeques. Please visit our Events page for more details.

Finally, we know we are stronger when we work together with others in our community to advance our goals. We highlight volunteer opportunities with local organizations that are doing vital work to help those in need, protect our beautiful environment, promote humane immigration policies, and make southern Arizona a safer, kinder, better place for all of us. We hope you join us!
